Robert Weber

ST. LOUIS - Robert M. Weber, 72, died Aug. 29, 2003, in St. Louis, following an extended illness.

Born July 4, 1931, in St. Louis, son of the late Louis and Sylvia Ettinger Weber, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps in the Korean War. He was a baker in St. Louis before retiring and was of the Baptist belief.

In 1963, he married Peggy Webb who preceded him in death on Nov. 9, 1994.

Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Bethany "Beth" Weber Ott and Jonathan Ott of Louisville, Ky., formerly of Sikeston; one sister, Louise Sommers of St. Louis; and one brother, Russell Weber of Seattle, Wash.

Private graveside services will be conducted Wednesday at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis County.

The St. Louis Cremation Society is in charge of arrangements.
