Doris Farris

WARDELL - Doris Evlyen Farris, 76, died Aug. 30, 2003, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Born Aug. 29, 1927, in Wardell, she was the daughter of the late John Dewey and Grace Carter Warth.

On Jan. 19, 1945, in Piggott, Ark., she married W.E.Farris who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one brother and sister-in-law, Albert and JoAnn Franklin Warth of Flint, Mich.; and one sister and brother-in-law, Marilliam and James Grace DeRousse of Portageville.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Melba Russell and Betty Wilson; and one brother, John Dewey Warth Jr.

Services were conducted at 2 p.m. today at DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville. The Rev. Griff Walker officiated.

Burial followed in the Portageville Cemetery.
