DEXTER - Bertha M. Farmer, 100, died Dec. 13, 2004, at Central Gardens Residential Care in Dexter.
Born Nov. 1, 1904, in Grayridge, daughter of the late Joseph and Lide Clark Alsup, she lived in the Bloomfield community most of her life and lived in Dexter the past few years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bloomfield.
Her husband, Rupert Farmer, preceded her in death on May 11, 1973.
Survivors include: one son, Bill Farmer of Lake Mary, Fla.; one daughter, Janet Farmer of The Villages, Fla.; two sisters, Colleen Miller of Sikeston and Maxine Neubert of Dayton, Ohio; and two granddaughters, Kristen Farmer and Courtney Farmer of Lake Mary.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Mike Arthur will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Bluff Cemetery at Idalia.
