CHARLESTON - Wilma Frances Telker Bohannon, 79, of Charleston, died at 11:02 a.m. Dec. 13, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born Jan. 13, 1925, in Texas Bend, daughter of the late William Raymond and Margaret Renaud Telker, she lived in Charleston most of her life. She was mostly a homemaker but had also worked in food services for the Charleston Public Schools. A 1945 graduate of St. Henry High School, she was a longtime member of St. Henry Catholic Church where she was a member of the Daughters of Isabella and served on any committee needed.

On June 27, 1953, in Charleston, she married Calvin Lawrence Bohannon who preceded her in death on Feb. 19, 2002.

Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Larry and Sheila Bohannon of Sikeston; one daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Buddy Reeves of Charleston; two brothers, Joe Telker and Charles Telker of Charleston; two sisters, Dorothy Uthoff and Frances Telker of Charleston; three grandsons, Chris Bohannon and Clint Bohannon of Sikeston and Byron Lee Reeves III of Charleston; three godchildren, Ronnie Chambers of Charleston, Nancy Uthoff Leigh of North Carolina and Joey Telker of Oklahoma; and several nieces and nephews.

Also preceding her in death were four brothers, Sylvester Telker, Albert Telker, her twin Wilbert "Buddy" Telker and Alfred Telker.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at McMikle Funeral Home where prayers will be recited at 7 p.m.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Henry Catholic Church. Monsignor Richard Rolwing of Sikeston and the Rev. David Coon of Scott City will serve as concelebrants.

Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Gary L. Poyner, Dr. Fred Uthoff, Bill Uthoff, David Telker, Joey Telker, Chris Bohannon, Clint Bohannon and Byron Lee Reeves III.
