Blackman-McCord

CHARLESTON -- Roger Blackman and Nita Blackman have announced the engagement of their daughter, Ginger Claire, to Keith Andrew McCord, son of Ray and Beth McCord of Sikeston.

A 1998 graduate of Charleston High School, the future bride is currently pursuing a degree in nursing at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau.

The prospective bridegroom is a 1993 graduate of Sikeston Senior High School and a 2000 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in biology. He is currently employed by Good Humor-Breyers in Sikeston.

Plans are being finalized for an Oct. 18 wedding at the Fellowship Baptist Church in Sikeston.
