Clarence Mustain
SPRINGFIELD - Clarence LeeAllen Mustain, 83, formerly of Malden, died Jan. 31, 2004, at Springfield Skilled Nursing.
Born May 7, 1920, in Peach Orchard, Ark., son of the late William and Margaret Staten Mustain, he retired as a salesman for the food service industry. He owned and operated the former Plymouth/Dodge dealership in Malden. A former member of Bethany General Baptist Church in Campbell, he was a member of the South Haven Baptist Church in Springfield.
His wife, Edna Gaither Mustain, survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Nikki and Ray Santie of Malden; one son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Gussie Mustain of Los Angeles, Calif.; one stepson and daughter-in-law, Charles and Valerie Jacques of Virginia; one sister, Mary Massey; and seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Mark Allen Mustain and three brothers and two sisters.
Services were conducted Tuesday at Landess Funeral Home in Malden with Dawsey Lee Brown officiating.
Burial followed in Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden.
