Double shooting leaves questions

SIKESTON -- A double shooting in Sikeston Monday evening has left officers with the Sikeston Department of Public Safety looking for answers.

According to reports, several shots were fired in the Branum and William area at 6 p.m. Monday. One man was found shot in the leg while another man was also shot and was later arrested at St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Officers are asking anyone who has information on the shooting to contact Sikeston DPS at 471-1500. Communications can be confidential.
