BONNE TERRE -- Bobby Gene Byrum Sr., 66, died March 29, 2005, at John Cochran V.A. Medical Center in St. Louis.
Born May 21, 1938, in Cairo, Ill., son of the late Elmer "Toad" and Virginia "Toby" Turner Byrum, he was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include: three sons, Bobby Gene Byrum Jr. of Tennessee and Paul Byrum and Mike Byrum of Bonne Terre; one daughter, Gina Byrum of St. Clair; one brother, Joe Byrum of Sikeston; his former wife, Joyce Byrum of Alabama; and nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation begins after 5 p.m. Friday at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge where services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday.
Graveside services will follow at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Oak Grove Cemetery in Charleston.
