SIKESTON - Kenneth F. Brewer, 65, died at 8 a.m. June 8, 2003, at his home.

Born Feb. 20, 1938, in Bell City, son of Della Faye Lingle Brewer of Sikeston and the late Earl Brewer, he was a self-employed electrical and building contractor. He served with the U.S. Air Force and was of the Baptist belief.

On April 3, 1971, at East Moline, Ill., he married Kay Leen Schroeder, who survives of the home.

Survivors in addition to his wife and mother include: two daughters and sons-in-law, Shelly Lynn and Andrew Stepp of Advance and Jennifer Renea and Glenn Lewis of Sikeston; two brothers, Harold Brewer and Glen Dale Brewer of Sikeston; three sisters, Wanda Moring of Nixa, Brenda Varvel of Sikeston and Thelma Slayton of Canalou; and four grandchildren, Madeline Lewis, Alexis Lewis and Hunter Joseph Lewis of Sikeston and Danielle Stepp of Advance.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Blanchard Funeral Chapel, where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. J.D. McClard will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Blodgett Cemetery with full military rites by the Missouri Military Honors Program.

Pallbearers will be: Doug White, Ralph Nickell, Tim Grigery, Bill Litchford, Scott Baker and John Degan.
