Kirk Riggins

EAST PRAIRIE - Kirk Douglas Riggins, 23, died March 15, 2003.

Born Sept. 9, 1979, in Chaffee, son of Tony Gene and Alice Faye Henry Riggins Sr. of East Prairie, he was a lifelong resident of East Prairie and was of the Baptist belief.

Survivors in addition to his parents include: one brother, Tony Gene Riggins Jr. of East Prairie; three sisters, Mary Alice Riggins of Dexter and Christy Dawn Riggins and Melinda Diane Riggins of Sikeston; his paternal grandmother, Mary Sue Riggins of East Prairie; his maternal grandmother, Irene Henry of East Prairie; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jim Riggins; and maternal grandfather, Buck Henry.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. Tuesday until service time at 1 p.m. at Shelby Funeral Home. Sammy Riggins will officiate.

Burial will follow in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
