ST. LOUIS - Timothy P. Gilmore, formerly of Sikeston's Gilmore Law Office LLC, has joined the law practice of McCarter and Greenley LLC.
Gilmore focuses on estate planning; business formation, planning and disposition; real estate transactions;and employment law matters. He also assists clients regarding commercial lending and banking law, health care law and wealth preservation for public assistance recipients.
Gilmore earned his juris doctorate from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law. Previously he earned a bachelor of arts degree in accountancy from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
A member of the Missouri department of Mental Health Region 9 Council on Developmental Disabilities, he is a director of the Southeast Missouri Betterment Council and the Southeast Missouri Title Company as well as a founding director of the Sikeston Area Higher Education Center. He served as general chairman of the 1996 Sikeston Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo and is actively involved in men's 12-step faith-based recovery groups.

ORAN - Oran High School students will gain insight about accounting careers, Nov. 24 when Wilfred E. Bucher, CPA, a member of the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA), shares insights about the profession that opens doors to employment opportunities in virtually every business and organization.

SIKESTON - Cheryl Jones, an employee of Bootheel Counseling Services for 19 years, was honored as the "Employee of the Quarter."
