ADVANCE - Cecil Otto Shell, 80, died March 16, 2005, at the Baptist Health Center in North Little Rock, Ark.

Born Nov. 26, 1924, at Dongola to the late Otto and Flora Null Shell, he was a farmer and a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army.

He was married to Demetrius Harris, who preceded him in death in 1973.

Survivors include: one son, Paul Shell of Richmond, Texas; one daughter, Debbie Boner of Sherwood, Ark.; one brother, Glenn Shell of Advance; two sisters, Lucy Eaker of Advance and Irene Collins of Cape Girardeau; and four grandchildren and four great-grandhchildren.

He was preceded in death by one stepdaughter, an infant brother and two sisters.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at the Dongola Friendship Baptist Church with the Rev. James Conn officiating.

Burial will be in the Dongola Cemetery.
