G.C. Harrell

CHAFFEE - G.C. Harrell Jr., 58, died April 6, 2002, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born April 26, 1948, in Cape Girardeau, son of the late G.C. and Stella Christine George Harrell Sr., he retired as an auto parts serviceman for Jackson Tire in Jackson.

On Oct. 8, 1971, he married Catherine Buell who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons, Chad Harrell and Ben Harrell of Chaffee; two brothers, Jess Harrell and Dan Harrell of Chaffee; two sisters, Naomi Smithwick of Jonesboro, Ark., and Janet Welter of Kelso; and two grandchildren.

Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Calvary Baptist Church in Chaffee with the Rev. Watis Harrell officiating.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery at Cape Girardeau.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel of Chaffee is in charge of arrangements.
