HANNIBAL -- Jeff and Brenda Fisher have announced the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Lynn, to Gabriel Lee Dement, son of Drew and Kenneth L. Dement Jr. of Sikeston and Toni Tucker and Gary Williams of Benton.
A 2002 graduate of Hannibal High School, the future bride expects to graduate in May 2006 from Hannibal-LaGrange College, where she is the student government class president, Circle K treasurer. She works at Maurices and is a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church.
The prospective bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Sikeston High School and a 2005 graduate of Hannibal-LaGrange College, where he was a three-year varsity soccer player, student government president and a member of Phi Beta Lambda Business Club. He is currently interviewing for jobs.
Plans are under way for an Aug. 13 wedding at Miner Baptist Church.
