EAST PRAIRIE - Thelma Louise Boyd, 80, died at 1:27 a.m. June 10, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born Oct. 5, 1923, in East Prairie, daughter of the late George and Bertie Bright Whitlock, she had lived in Mississippi County her entire life and was a member of the First General Baptist Church in East Prairie.
Her husband, Carmen Boyd, preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, George L. Whitlock; and one sister, Dorothy Uselman.
Survivors include: one brother, Howard Whitlock of Flint, Mich.; and two sisters, Helen Marks of East Prairie ad Bernice Leser of Flint.
Visitation will be at 6 p.m. today at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, where services are scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Saturday. Dale Billingsley will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Phillip Sisk, Dennis Carter, Benji Shands, Shane Shands, Willard Turner and Dennis Leser.
