LILBOURN - Rosa P. Mauk, 95, died Nov. 12, 2005, at New Madrid Nursing Center in New Madrid.
Born Feb. 12, 1910, in Helena, Ark., daughter of the late Noah and Melthenia Tucker Willis, she was a member of the Catron Baptist Church.
On Dec. 20,1931, she married Master Sgt. Samuel Mauk, USAF retired, who preceded her in death on March 6, 1971.
She was also preceded in death by one son and daughter-in-law, Charles F. and Ruby Mauk; and seven sisters and one grandson.
Survivors include: four sons and three daughters-in-law, Samuel C. "Chester" and Nancy Mauk of Albuquerque, N.M., James V. "Jim" and Connie Mauk of New Madrid, Ted and Jewell Mauk of Lilbourn and Kenneth Mauk of Kennett; two daughters and sons-in-law, Monra and Don Hammond of Falls Church, Va., and Barbara and Ronald Ervin of Lilbourn; and 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, four step-
grandchildren, nine step-great-grandchildren and one step-great-great-
grandchild.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ponder Funeral Home in Lilbourn where funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Travis Lambert, pastor of General Baptist Church in Lilbourn, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Mounds Park Cemetery near Lilbourn.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Dennis Mauk, David Mauk, Richard Mauk, Toby Mauk, Steve Mauk and Brian Mauk.
