SIKESTON - Maylene F. Dozier, 89, died Nov. 12, 2005, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
Born May 26, 1916, in Winfield, Ala., daughter of the late George and Elizabeth "Shug" Tidwell, she was of the Baptist belief.
In 1936, she married Nokie Dozier who preceded her in death on Oct. 21, 1980.
Two sons, one daughter and three grandchildren also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one son, Gene Dozier of Miner; two daughters, Betty Barnes of Miner and Marie Deshazier of Morley; and 22 grandchildren, 14 great-
grandchildren and four great-great-granchildren.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Dewayne Coleman, pastor of Canalou Baptist Church, and the Rev. John Tarter, pastor of Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Wayne Angle, Frank Houchins Jr., Steve Evans, Joe Parker Sr., Tommy Woods and Jerry White.
