SCOTT CITY -- David Gerald Emmons, 63, died Nov. 11, 2005, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born Feb. 1, 1942, at Doniphan, son of the late Williams Robert and Mona Ester Nesbit Emmons, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Vietnam and was employed with Southeast Missouri State University as a Utilities Power Plant maintenance journeyman. He was a member of the St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso and the Knights of Columbus 6420 in Scott City.
On Sept. 14, 1968, at Kelso, he married Lillian Helen Kielhofner who survives of the home.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by: two daughters, Suzan Renee Moore of Cape Girardeau and Trisha Dawn LeGrand of Benton; one brother, James R. Emmons, of Gower; and three grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. today at the St. Augustine Church in Kelso. The Rev. Oliver Clavin officiated.
Burial with graveside military rites by the Missouri Honor Guard followed in the St. Augustine Cemetery in Kelso.
