SIKESTON - Here are the results from Thursday's Sikeston Area Youth Baseball action.

AMERICAN LEAGUE

Kiwanis led 6-0 after the first inning but couldn't hold on as Jaycees erupted for eight runs in the fifth to win the game.

Jaycees pitchers Trent McMillan, Issac Protzel and Clay Driskill. Hunter Williams took the loss for Kiwanis.

Driskill had a double, Protzel had a triple, McMillan had a home run and Ryan Vanover had a double.

Elks jumped out to a 9-0 lead and never looked back. Ian Householder was the winning pitcher, striking out nine batters along the way.

Luke Keefer was the losing pitcher in five innings, recording six strikeouts.

Elks was led on offense by Kyler Reeves who was 4-4. Kaiden Lambert, Blake Angle, Gage Briton, Conner Hamra and Householder all had extra-base hits for Elks.

Mike Gipson added a triple for Rotary.

ROOKIE LEAGUE

Randy's was led by Brandon Houseman and Jason Brashear with three hits apiece. Kevin Jobe added two hits.

R.J. saw Chase Kaminsky, Zach Harrison and Christian Nedher each go 2-for-2.

Ferguson's Shane Garrett, Jarrett Sandlin and Brandon Wilson each collected two hits. Irrigation saw Jason Alvarez, Brandon Flippo, Dilan Rucker and Theodore Burton each get two hits.

Ponder's Adam Kinnard and Dylan Carrol led the way with two hits each. Josh Crowden also had a hit. Blanchard was led by Gavin O'Brien and John Michael Brewer with two hits each.
