EAST PRAIRIE - Bulah Louise Wallace, 77, died April 7, 2004, at her residence in East Prairie.

Born May 10, 1926, in Hickman, Ky., to the late William Edward and Fronin Aday Burney, she was a member of the Church of God in East Prairie. For 33 years she worked for Burkart Foam Company in Cairo, Ill.

On Dec. 13, 1941, in Charleston, she married Chester C. Wallace, who preceded her in death on March 1, 1992.

Survivors include: one daughter, Faye DeSpain of Rolla; three sons, Bobby Gene Wallace and Kendall Stanton Wallace of East Prairie and Bonnie Joe (Reb) Wallace of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; one sister, Gladys B. Terry of East Prairie; and four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Martin Lucas, pastor of the Anniston Christian Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie.
