SIKESTON - Irene L. Callaham, 84, formerly of Morley and Morehouse, died Nov. 9, 2003, at the Clearview Nursing Center.

Born Nov. 26, 1918, in Kerwin, Kan., daughter of the late George and Rosa Miller McAdow, she was a member of the Morehouse Church of Christ.

On June 22, 1951, in Oran, she married John P. Callaham who preceded her in death on Dec. 27, 1983.

Survivors include: one son, Clarence Callaham of Advance; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Viola and Frankie Eaves of Poplar Bluff, Lena and Walt Beavers and Eva and Hershall Murphy of Sikeston and Betty Agee of Advance; and nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Two infant sons, one brother and one sister also preceded her in death.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Woodrow Phillips, minister of the Morehouse Church of Christ, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the New Morley Cemetery at Morley.

Pallbearers will be: Lee Murphy, Brandon Murphy, James Beavers, Chris Beavers, Mark Beavers and Gary Ahern.
