TUCSON, Ariz. - Kimberly Gaye Ring, 41, formerly of Sikeston, Mo., died May 24, 2004, at her home.

Born Sept. 2, 1962, in Sikeston, daughter of Edgar R. and Eloise Gilliland Ring of Tucson, she had attended New Dawn State School in Sikeston. Kim was a "special" child with a special love for the Lord, her family and friends. She sang in the choir and performed special music at North Acres General Baptist Church in Sikeston, where she was a member. She loved gospel music, country western music and religious books.

Survivors in addition to her parents include: one sister and brother-in-law, Pam and Stephen Shell of Tucson; her uncle and aunt, L.N. and Helen Gilliland of Sikeston; a nephew, Dustin Shell of Tucson; and a niece, Brittni Shell of Tucson.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Norman Elledge of the First General Baptist Church of Advance, Mo., and the Rev. Ernest Elledge of Sikeston will officiate.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
