PARMA - Harold Simmons, 63, died Jan. 3, 2005, at his home.

Born June 15, 1941, in New Madrid County, son of the late Harold and Julia Blair Simmons, he had been a machine operator for Alumax Inc. in St. Louis and was of the Baptist belief.

On Oct. 21, 1963, he married Anna Boyer who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two daughters, Lisa Scott of Parma and Lori Null of Pacific; two brothers, Melvin Simmons of Catron and David Simmons of New Madrid; two sisters, Mary Baca of Moline, Ill., and Judy Obenhaus of St. Louis; and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Melissa Simmons; one son, Eric Dewayne Simmons; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Ponder Funeral Home in Lilbourn, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. John Girdley, pastor of the Parma Baptist Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Mounds Park Cemetery near Lilbourn.
