SIKESTON - Sally J. Beckmann, 69, died at 4:15 p.m. Dec. 31, 2004, at her home.
Born June 17, 1935 in Clinton, Ill., to the late James Hobert and Mary Ann Dorrell Tate, she was a data entry clerk for the Missouri State Job Service until her retirement. A member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sikeston, she was active in the Altar Sodality and a member of the Auxiliary Legion of Mary at the church.
On May 30, 1962, in Peoria, Ill, she married Albert J. Beckmann, who preceded her in death on July 22, 1982.
Survivors include: two brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Iola Tate of Monticello, Ill., and Jim and Mary Tate of St. Charles; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is from 12:30 p.m. Wednesday until time for a memorial service at 2 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel.
Monsignor Stephen Schneider, pastor of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, will officiate.
