SCOTT CITY - Celestia Grace Ziegler, 86, died at 8:50 p.m. Jan. 2, 2005, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born Nov. 21, 1918, near Commerce, daughter of the late August and Anna Martin LeDure, she was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Joseph Ladies Sodality and VFW Post 6407 in Scott City.

On March 4, 1935, at Jackson, she married Theodore C. Ziegler who died March 14, 1992.

Survivors include: one son, David Ziegler of Kelso; two daughters, Darlene Duff of Scott City and Vivian Buehrle of Ballwin; one brother, Hugh "Bud" LeDure of Jackson; and 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one son, two daughters, two brothers, six sisters, one grandchild and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City, where a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. David Coon officiating.

Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery at Scott City.
