BLOOMFIELD - Freda Mae Lilly, 69, died Jan. 1, 2005, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter.
Born June 27, 1935, in Bloomfield, daughter of the late Henry and Opal Harper Rogers, she was a lifelong resident of the Bloomfield community. She retired as a waitress for the Hickory Log Restaurant in Dexter and was a member of the Dexter Church of Christ.
In 1952, she married John Lilly who preceded her in death on Jan. 10, 1973.
Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Marilynn Lilly of Bloomfield and Bob and Elizabeth Lilly of Dexter; four brothers, Raymond DeJournett of Kansas City, Kan., J.D. DeJournett of Flint, Mich., Larry Rogers of Dexter and Henry Rogers of Centralia, Ill.; six sisters, Louise Cox of Bloomfield, Betty Faulkner of Marble Hill, Ettie Mayo and Bertha J¡ohnson of Bloomfield, Ella Caldwell of Arnold and Doris Zillick of Flint; and five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Also preceding her in death were one son, Johnny Lilly on Oct. 26, 1995; one brother, Floyd Rogers; and one sister, Lucille Gross.
Services were conducted Monday at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Dale Grissom and Don Bahr officiating.
Burial followed in the Bloomfield Cemetery.
