SIKESTON - Sikeston wrestler Tom Chouinard found himself on the mat in a recent match against a Dexter opponent. But the 189-pounder won this match and his win over Cape Central Monday tied the score, allowing Corey McNew to win the match with a pin.

SIKESTON - Noranda Aluminum Co. Inc. made a donation to The United Way of Sikeston on Wednesday. Employees contributed $18,337.25, with a company match this brought the total contribution to $36,674.50.

ST. LOUIS - The Sikeston Bulldogs continued their recent slide, losing their third straight game, and four out of their last five on the season to the Lutheran South Lancers 70-63 on Saturday. "It was a hard fought game, they played their butts off," said Sikeston coach Fred Johnson, whose team drops to 6-13 on the season.
