GORHAM, Ill. - Margie A. Crowden, 59, died at 12:42 a.m. Oct. 31, 2002, at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital in Murphysboro.

Born Feb. 22, 1943, in Advance, Mo., daughter of the late John William and V. Beatrice Miller Mouser, she was a cook at the Rehab and Care Center of Jackson County and member of the Mount Carbon Church of God in Murphysboro.

On Jan. 3, 1959, in Sikeston, Mo., she married Jessie A. Crowden who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son, Michael J. Crowden of Murphysboro; one daughter, Angela Renee Williams of Carmi; two brothers, Glen William Mouser of San Antonio, Texas, and Harold Lloyd Mouser of Vicksburg, Miss.; three sisters, Martha Faye Northington of Sikeston, Helen Schmidt of Pharr, Texas, and Janice Floyd of Crossett, Ark.; and six grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Visitation is begins at 5 p.m. Saturday and will continue from 7:30 a.m. Sunday until service time at 2 p.m. at Wilson's Funeral Home in Ava. The Rev. Charles Allen and the Rev. Leland Hale will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Crain Cemetery at Ava.
