Lorene Crider

SIKESTON - Lorene Crider, 90, died at 4:10 a.m. Oct. 9, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

Born Feb. 12, 1914, in Tomlin, Ark., daughter of the late Bud and Mattie Poore McGarity, she worked for Lambert's Cafe for 32 years and was of the Pentecostal belief.

On Jan. 27, 1931, in Little Rock, Ark., she married Clyde L. Crider who preceded her in death on May 14, 1982.

Two sons, three brothers and one sister also preceded her in death.

Survivors include: five sons, Clyde E. "Sonny" Crider, Michael Crider and Sammy Crider of Sikeston, Winston Crider of St. Charles and George Crider of DeSoto; three daughters, Betty Crider, Tamara Crider and Barbara Landers of Sikeston; and 27 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel where services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Jimmy Dent, pastor of the United Pentecostal Church in Morehouse, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
