SIKESTON - Vernon Dorrough has resigned as Sikeston city mail carrier to enter other work, Postmaster Pleas Malcolm announced today. Atridus Thrower, who has served as substitute carrier, has succeeded Dorrough and Rex Martin has taken Thrower's place.

Winners were: Little Miss East Prairie, Dawn Childers, 3-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tony Childers; Little Mr. East Prairie, Jason Brown, 4-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Brown; first runners-up Andrea Glenn, 5-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Glenn and Chris Clinard, 4-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Clinard; and second runners-up were Megan Presson, 5-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Presson and Denny Wilson, 5-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wilson.
