PARMA - Bob W. Lewis, 78, died Jan. 8, 2005, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
Born July 8, 1926, in Parma, son of the late Nathaniel and Ida Wilson Lewis, he was a member of the Parma General Baptist Church, where he was a deacon for many years. He was employed by the Parma School System for several years.
On May 27, 1946, in Piggott, Ark., he married Earlene Jaynes who preceded him in death on Sept. 23, 1980.
Survivors include: two daughters and sons-in-law, Sheila and Jim Barr of Lake Mary, Fla., and Reatha and Tony Paul of New Hamburg; one sister, Rose Nichols of Parma; one stepbrother, Larry Warren of Dexter; one stepsister, Maxine Hedrick of Dexter; and two granddaughters, Courtney Paul and Chelsea Paul of New Hamburg.
One brother, Carlton Lewis, also preceded him in death.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Parma, where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Don Cooper of Dexter will officiate.
Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.
