FULTON - Vera Imogene Farris, 78, formerly of Sikeston, died Jan. 7, 2005, at her home.
Born June 30, 1926, in Success, Ark., daughter of the late Louis and Lola Jones Henson, she retired from nursing for the Fulton State Hospital in 1988.
On Sept. 24, 1946, at Success, she married Virgil Eugene "Connie" Farris who preceded her in death on Jan. 14, 1972.
Survivors include: three daughters, Connie Renner of Fulton, Anna Fowler of Camdenton and Rose Barnes of Millersburg; two sons, Jack Farris of Lake Ozark and Larry Farris of Roach; and nine grandchildren, six stepgrandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 13 stepgreat-grandchildren.
Services were conducted at 10 a.m. today at the Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. Jim Poland and Bruce Williamson officiated.
Burial followed in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
