SIKESTON - Mary Elna Klutts, 83, died at 5:20 a.m. May 6, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

Born March 10, 1919, in Portageville, daughter of the late William and Minnie Gilbow Warth, she had been a retail sales clerk for Blum's Department Store, P.N. Hirsch and J.C. Penney. She was a Mary Kay representative for more than 20 years and volunteered at Missouri Delta Medical Center for several years. A member of Tanner Street Church of God, she was also a member of the Altrusa Club and Friday Morning Prayer Group.

On Aug. 14, 1938, at Risco, she married William H. Klutts who preceded her in death on Feb. 11, 1964.

Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Sheila Klutts of Sikeston; one daughter, Joyce Simonsen of Grand Rapids, Mich.; one brother, Bill Warth of Risco; four sisters, Margaret Williams of Evansville, Ind., Martha Cook of St. Louis, Berniece Welch of the state of California and Donna Adams of Risco; and six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one son, James Edward Klutts; and one sister, Nevel Ornder.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Blanchard Funeral Chapel.

Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at Tanner Street Church of God with the Rev. Carl Addison, pastor, officiating.

Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
