EAST PRAIRIE - Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Scruggs have announced the engagement of their daughter, Abby, to Brandon Williams of Murray, Ky., son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Williams of Jonesboro, Ark.
The future bride will graduate in May 2003 from Murray State (Ky.) University, where she is majoring in marketing. She is employed by Food Giant in Murray.
The prospective bridegroom is majoring in Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA) at Murray State University. He is employed by the Wal-Mart Tire and Lube Center in Murray.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the 6 p.m. ceremony Aug. 10 at the First Church of God in East Prairie.
