Anne Hollenbeck

SIKESTON - Anne L. Hollenbeck, 71, died Nov. 19, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

Born Jan. 26, 1932, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of the late Marshall and Pauline Simpson Hollenbeck, she was a third grade teacher and retired from the Des Moines (Iowa) Public School System. A member of the First United Methodist Church in Sikeston, she had also served on the Sikeston Public Library Board for many years and was a benefactor for The Sikeston Depot Museum.

Survivors include: one brother, John Hollenbeck Sr. of Newport Beach, Calif.; and two nephews, John Hollenbeck Jr. of Tustin, Calif., and Jeffery Hollenbeck of Fort Pierce, Fla.

Visitation is from 1 p.m. Tuesday until service time at 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church. The Rev. William F. Koch, pastor, will officiate.

Ponder Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
