SIKESTON -- Kristi Lynne Ross and Kristopher John "Kris" Heacox exchanged wedding vows in a 7 p.m. ceremony Aug. 6, 2004, in the backyard of Ken and Rosemary Latham of Sikeston. Dr. Rick Ramsey, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Sikeston, performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Diane Roach of Sikeston and the late Carl Roach and Ricky Rister, and her husband is the son of John and Cathy Heacox of Sikeston.

Vocalist Brent McKown of Sikeston provided music for the occasion.

Given in marriage by her son, Greggory Jordan Crider, the bride's matron of honor was Tera Rogers-Kelley of Essex, and her bridesmaid was Ryann Mills-Davis of Sikeston.

Flower girls were the bride's nieces, Bailey Manley, daughter of Chris and Natalie Manley of Cape Girardeau, and Madison Blechle, daughter of Mike and Amie Blechle of Jackson. Brad Heacox of Paducah, Ky., served his brother as best man, and Jeff Heacox of Murray, Ky., also brother of the bridegroom, was a groomsman.

Bryce Hunter Ross, son of the bride, was ringbearer.

Ushers were cousins of the bridegroom, Brent McKown and Derek McKown of Sikeston.

Heather Graham and Ashley Rogers of Sikeston attended the guest book. Rosemary Latham and Elizabeth Lorenz of Sikeston were wedding coordinators.

A reception was held at the Clinton Building in Sikeston, where guests were served dinner by Donna Dixon, Donnie Dixon and Elizabeth Moore of Sikeston. Cake servers were Tona Nicoson of Sikeston, Carla Essner of New Hamburg and Donna Marshall of Matthews. Marsha Duncan of Sikeston was the photographer.

Following a honeymoon to St. Louis, the new Mr. and Mrs. Heacox are residing in Owensboro, Ky.
