MALDEN - Burl E. Mann, 59, died Sept. 23, 2001, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter.

Born April 26, 1942, at Parma, son of the late Monrol and Rosie Homes Mann, he was a retired farmer and attended the Church of God in Parma.

In February 1967, at Parma, he married Alice Johnson who preceded him in death on Sept. 10, 1975. He married Eunice Lee Cullum on May 13, 1978, at Grayridge, and she died on July 18, 1999.

Survivors include: two sons, Michael Mann of Zalma and Wesley Mann of Malden; two daughters, Joyce Lathey and Pamela Jackson of Lubbock, Texas; six brothers, Loyde Mann, James Mann, Kennith Mann, Bush Mann, Austen Mann and Jerry Matlock, addresses unavailable; three sisters, Martha Matlock, Anna May Mann and Gladys Burleson, addresses unavailable; and 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by one son, Alvice Mann; and one brother, Gradie Matlock.

Services were conducted at 10 a.m. today at Rainey Funeral Home in Dexter with the Rev. Clifford Wray officiating.

Burial followed in the Rosewood Cemetery at Malden.
