Charles Cawhorn

LILBOURN - Charles Leonard Cawhorn, 64, died March 24, 2007, at his home in Lilbourn.

Born May 19, 1942, in New Madrid, he was the son of the late James Leonard and Verda Bell Cawhorn, he worked as a truck driver for many years.

On Nov. 4, 1961, in Portageville, he married Betty McClaine, who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Shelly Cawhorn of Lilbourn; one brother, James C. "J.C." Cawhorn of Tacoma, Wash.; four sisters, Molly Price of Lilbourn, Floella Blunk of Dexter, Phyllis Hall of Madera, Calif. and Elsie Vires of the state of Texas; and three grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Snider and Gloria Picknes.

Visitation is from 9 a.m. until time of services at 2 a.m. Tuesday at DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville.

Burial will follow in Mounds Park Cemetery.
