BRAGG CITY -- A Bragg City resident was moderately injured after being struck by a car Wednesday night in Pemiscot County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports at 10 p.m. at Route K in Bragg City, an accident occurred as an intoxicated 15-year-old, Tommy W. McCoy of Bragg City, walked into the path of the vehicle driven by Tim R. Taylor, 19, of Bragg City.
McCoy was taken by ambulance to Twin Rivers Hospital in Kennett.
PARMA -- A New Madrid County resident was seriously injured in a one-vehicle accident Wednesday in New Madrid County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, at 7:15 a.m., eight miles north of Parma, an accident occurred as Jessie Gamble, 35, of Marston was traveling eastbound on Route D and lost control of his 2-ton 10-wheeler truck and ran off the east side of Missouri Highway 153.
Gamble was taken by Arch Helicopter to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
