DEXTER - Dorothy E. Rainey, 87, died Oct. 6, 2001, at Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center in Dexter.
Born Oct. 2, 1914, at Dexter, to the late Orville Chesley and Nina Norman Rainey, she was a former employee of Elder Manufacturing in Dexter and a member of the Dexter Church of Christ.
Survivors include: one brother, Charles Rainey of Bonne Terre; two sisters, Ruth Dreadon and Evelyn Duley of Dexter; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers, Marvin Rainey, Lee Rainey, Loyd Rainey, Bob Rainey, Haden Rainey and Dale Rainey.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Rainey Funeral Home in Dexter where services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday.
Burial will follow in the Hagy Cemetery.
