SIKESTON - Louis Adam Bolden, 79, died at 4:11 p.m. Aug. 4, 2004, at his home.

Born Nov. 10, 1924, in Sikeston, son of the late Henry M. and Frances "Frannie" Rausch Bolden, he was a bookkeeper for Limbaugh Construction. A lifelong resident of Sikeston, he was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Masonic Lodge 368 AF&AM.

On June 30, 1943, in Sikeston, he married Wanda Maxine Baker who preceded him in death on May 23, 2003.

Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Ed Pratt of Sikeston; one sister, Betty Chronister of Jonesboro, Ark.; and seven grandchildren, Scott Price of St. Louis, Gregg Price, Coeta Williams and Carla Ellison of Sikeston, Angela Howe of Springfield, Ill., Denise Mayberry of Bernie and Lynnette Pratt of Fort Myers, Fla.

One daughter, Connie Campbell, preceded him in death on Nov. 13, 1995.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Blanchard Funeral Chapel, where services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Johnathan Cooney, associate pastor of the First United Methodist Church in Sikeston and the Rev. Robert Sneed, pastor of Bird's Corner Assembly of God Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
