BROSELEY - The Sikeston Bulldog ninth grade basketball team improved to 7-7 on the season with a 53-45 win over Twin Rivers on Monday in Broseley.

Sikeston led 12-11 after one quarter and 33-19 at the half. They extended the lead to 41-29 entering the fourth quarter.

Sikeston was led by Josh Alvarado's 14 points. Matt Limbaugh added nine points and Tyler Woodson had eight.

Felante Larry scored six, while Brandon Williams, Marcos McCauley and Brandon Cole each scored four.

Desmond Jackson and Avis White each contributed two. Stockton led Twin Rivers with 12 points.

Sikeston's freshman team will finish up the season when they host Dexter on Monday at 6 p.m.
