SIKESTON - Plans for locating a trade school here in Sikeston were initiated last night, as approximately 175 interested persons attending the dinner - business meeting at the high school. Superintendent of Schools Lynn Twitty said the trade school will "provide education opportunities for children which they would not get otherwise."
SIKESTON - Martha Pierceall won the 4-H Wildlife and Fisheries award. She is the first from Missouri to win the award. Her prize is a trip to Portland, Ore., for the North American Wildlife and Natural Resources Conference.
SIKESTON - New members joining the Sikeston Chapter of Upsilon Omega Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi, an international sorority, were Michelle Glaus, Michele Williams and Tilda Adams. These ladies completed requirements for membership in the sorority.
