Nila Botsch

DEXTER - Nila Jeanie Hampton Botsch, 50, died Jan. 16, 2002, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

Born Nov. 22, 1951, in Poplar Bluff, daughter of the late Louie and Lavern Crabtree Hampton, she was a first grade teacher at Oak Grove Elementary School in Poplar Bluff.

Survivors include: one son, Nathan Botsch of Jackson; one daughter, Natalie Botsch of Bloomington, Ind.; three brothers, Keith Hampton of Dexter, Larry Hampton of Bernie and Allen Hampton of Parma; two sisters, Doris Harmon of Pontiac, Mich., and Mary Lou Ellis of Wappapello.

One brother, Braxton Crabtree, preceded her in death.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, where services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Charles Harper will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
