Sikeston Department of Public Safety Color Guard member Keith Hente, rides during the Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo parade Saturday morning. The parade also included the Shriner clowns, the Missourians, Civil War re-enactors the Sheriff's Posse and area politicians. The Jaycee's held several activities for the public Saturday to celebrate their 50th Annual Rodeo.

The 8th Annual Redneck Barbecue Cook-Off is set for Malone Park. Entertainment is planned
11:30-1 p.m. Lunch with the Rodeo Clowns in Legion Park. Cost is $1.50. Also there will be face painting, sidewalk chalk art and pony rides.
