Wagner wins Outlaw Street event at Sikeston Drag Strip

SIKESTON -- Rob Wagner of St. Louis captured the feature race, the Outlaw Street event, at the Sikeston Drag Strip on Saturday.

Wagner's elapsed time was 5.497 seconds at 117.21 mph with a reaction time of .422 seconds.

Kevin Leutert of Quilin finished second with a time of 5.782 at 117.89 mph with a reaction time of .409.

In the EZ Street class, Jason Johnson of Lesterville won with a time of 9.54 at 98.68 mph with a RT of .481. Wayne Joplin of Naylor finished second, although he failed to finish the final.

Zeman Davis of Cairo, Ill., claimed the Junior Dragster division with a time of 8.803 at 70.73 mph with a RT of .508, while Taylor Bowman of Cape Girardeau was second with a time of 7.825 seconds at 83.67 mph with a RT of .567.

Clint Hilliard of Milan, Tenn., took the Pro Bike class with a time of 5.970 at 112.75 mph with a RT of .513. Chad Beery of Decatur, Ill., was second in 5.663 seconds at 119.45 mph with a RT of .537.

In the Street Bike event, John Weaver of Medina, Tenn., took the checkered flag at 6.461 seconds at 104.69 mph with a RT of .624.

Chris Vinson placed second in 6.367 seconds at 118.42 mph with a reaction time of .805.
