Britt - 50th

SIKESTON - Jack and Frances Britt were honored with a celebration Aug. 24 at the First Christian Church in Sikeston in commemoration of their golden wedding anniversary. They were married Sept. 3, 1952, in Pocahontas, Ark.

They are the parents of Mike and Barbara Britt of Excelsior Springs, Cynthia and Tony Cantrell of Wickliffe, Ky., and Tim and Elaine Britt of Montgomery, Ala.

Assisting with the reception was Mrs. Britt's sister, Margie Bauerle of Cape Girardeau and the CWF ladies of the church. Also present for the celebration were the couple's six grandchildren, Laura Britt, Lee Britt, Tony "T.C." Britt II, Jackie "J.R." Cantrell, Bryan Britt and Kevin Britt.
