Metzger - Piscitelli

SIKESTON -- Marshall Stuart and Dixie Metzger Jr. and Kenneth and Allison Hagen have announced the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Elizabeth Metzger, to Nicholas John Piscitelli, son of Andy and Barbara Piscitelli of Buena Park, Calif.

A 2001 graduate of Sikeston Senior High School, the future bride is a sergeant with the U.S. Army in Fort Knox, Ky. She had been attending Southeast Missouri State University as an army reservist when she was called to active duty in January 2003. She is a member of the Tri Delta Sorority. Her grandparents are Marshall and Betty Metzger of Richland and the late Richard L. "Dick" Watkins and Phyllis Tedlie Watkins.

The prospective bridegroom graduated in 2000 from Sunny Hills Senior High in Fullerton, Calif. Sgt. Piscitelli is a front line medic with the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, Ky. He is the grandson of Bill and Geneva Ash of the state of California and the late Pat and Mary Piscitelli.

Plans are under way for an April 16, 2005.
