CHAFFEE - James E. Nordin, 81, died Jan. 13, 2005, at his home.
Born Feb. 8, 1923, in Chaffee, son of the late Clarence Henry and Lethie Marie Biby Nordin, he retired as a self-employed masonry worker. A U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, he was a member of Disabled American Veterans Chapter 16 in Cape Girardeau.
On Jan. 28, 1952, he married Faye Long who preceded him in death on March 24, 2001.
Two brothers and one sister also preceded him in death.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. Saturday until service time at 1 p.m. at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. The Rev. Marty Blakey will officiate.
Burial will follow in Union Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Joe James, Shannon Dannenmueller, Chris Nordin, Scotty Nordin, Rodney Nordin and Jack Burnett.
