Beck -- Burns

SIKESTON -- Melissa Denise Beck of Sikeston and Bobby Jack Burns Jr. of Diehlstadt have announced their engagement.

The bride is the daughter of Jeanie Robinson of St. Louis and granddaughter of Betty Beck of Sikeston. She is employed by Collins Music in Sikeston.

Her fiance, son of the Rev. Jack and Linda Burns of Diehlstadt, is the grandson of the late Rev. Thomas and Ethel Burns. A Christian musician and songwriter, he is employed by Santie Oil in Sikeston.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the ceremony at 2 p.m. May 3 at Smith Street Church of God in Sikeston.
